Abstract
Should the letters “PMO” stand for the Performance Marketing Office? Given the customer centric pressures that the web is placing on the marketing function, it might be time for the organizationally aligning principles of applied project management to fuse with the process driven world of marketing operations. But will the Project Management Office, as we’ve known it, become the required hub for this fusion - marrying strategy with execution - or is a “new improved” PMO required?
